Nick Pullar is a philosopher, IT manager, humanist, skeptic, author and TV and radio personality.

He has an MA (Hons) in philosophy from the University of Auckland and was the founder and managing director of BDN Computer Solutions Ltd in New Zealand. He received the Bertrand Russell Award from the New Zealand Association of Rationalists & Humanists in 2000, presented annually to a member of the Association whose efforts significantly advanced the cause of the Association during the year. He has written numerous articles for web-sites such as Ansible, and for the Human Rights Commission, New Zealand.

He moved to London for five years, during which he ran Skeptics in the Pub, finding many excellent speakers and increasing its popularity so much that it is now difficult to find a pub large enough to accommodate the audience. He is an intrepid firewalker and media personality, and has appeared on Baggage Reclaim, on Resonance FM as the token skeptic, on Kilroy and role playing in Hârn World.

He now lives in Hungary with his wife Zsu and son Tomas and runs a customer services consultancy.
