

Nick Pullar is a philosopher, IT manager, humanist, skeptic, author and TV
and radio personality.
He has an MA (Hons) in philosophy from the
University of Auckland
and was
the founder and managing director of BDN Computer Solutions Ltd in New Zealand. He received the Bertrand Russell Award from the New Zealand Association of Rationalists &
Humanists in 2000, presented annually to a member of the Association whose efforts significantly advanced the cause of the Association during the year. He has written numerous articles for web-sites such as
Ansible, and for the
Human Rights Commission, New Zealand.
He moved to London for five years, during which he ran
Skeptics in the Pub, finding many
excellent speakers and increasing its popularity so much that it is now
difficult to find a pub large enough to accommodate the audience. He is an
intrepid firewalker
and media
personality, and has appeared on
Baggage Reclaim, on Resonance FM
as the token skeptic, on
Kilroy
and role playing in Hârn World.
He now lives in Hungary with his wife Zsu and son Tomas
and runs a customer services consultancy.
